Recommended in cases of: Chronic hepatitis, Portosystemic shunt, Hepatic encephalopathy, Copper storage disease - Not recommended in case of: Pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis, Hyperlipidemia, Acute hepatitis without hepatic encephalopathy¹, Growth, gestation/lactation.
